This portrait by Nora Heysen of Charles George Lambie (1891–1961) is now in the University Art Collection in the Chau Chak Wing Museum at The University of Sydney. Lambie was professor of medicine at the university for many years.

Heysen was the first women to win the Archibald Prize, in 1938, for a portrait of Adine Michèle Elink Schuurman (nee Lambert), the French wife of the Dutch consul-general to Australia.
