Whether you’re wanting to celebrate a landmark birthday, anniversary, engagement or another special occasion, you can celebrate in style at the Art Gallery. 

As one of the Australia’s flagship museums, with magnificent architecture and art, the Art Gallery is one of the most distinctive function venues in Sydney.

Centrally located near the Sydney CBD, between tranquil parklands and the harbour, we offer a range of flexible event spaces and the option of exclusive use of the gallery in the evening for private events.

With a dedicated events team and a premium catering service, you and your guests will experience an event of a lifetime.

Versatile spaces for your next social event 

In our original south building, now known as Naala Nura, we have two beautiful spaces, both with impressive views, available to hire for social functions: the restaurant and the function room. 

The restaurant can host up to 116 seated guests or 120 for a cocktail-style event. 

The function room can host up to 120 seated or 180 cocktail-style.

These two event spaces can be joined to accommodate up to 300 guests for a cocktail-style function.

Additional event spaces are available in our stunning new north building, now known as Naala Badu.
