Caity James What I'd look like without a beard

Here is a graphite portrait of my dad, Andrew. Both he and I thought the idea for this portrait was great, perfectly capturing his goofy side, but my mum took a while to warm to the idea. He is also an artist, but I can’t say he has taught me anything much. He and I have fun together and I don’t know what I’d do without his dad jokes, so I hope he forgives me for drawing every wrinkle. I’m happy to have been able to capture him in this happy moment, as it makes me smile.
