My portrait is a pencil drawing of my grandma. I chose to depict her because she’s a very special woman with a beautiful soul and one who’s close to all our hearts. I aimed to represent life and happiness with the vivid colours and bold shapes I used as she’s been lacking it lately. With the recent death of my grandpa and her husband of 52 wonderful years I thought it’d be nice to bring back the cheerful quality my grandma once had, even if it’s in an artwork.
