you are a hermit crab living in a pepsi can, dreaming of a two-litre bottle of mountain dew, ending up in a fish tank at the empty shell of Golden Century. the tides of change are canals and dams and forgotten rivers under our e-scooter footpaths lit up by e-cigarettes. elephants, escargot, enema.

everything is a joke depending on how high up you are, or how high you are. below, everything is smog and smoke and mirrors, which is funny, in a dark way, because the solar powered lights don’t work, which is also funny. good night good bye.
