Zai Kuang Basic food

This work is one of a series of paintings about food. I get a lot of my inspiration from daily life and much of my work is set in a domestic environment. I like to draw and paint ordinary objects and figures that are familiar to me. I have also done many paintings of children with toys.

I want to create a tranquil atmosphere in my paintings. In this work, there are a lot of horizontal lines, which help give the painting a feeling of calmness.
