Rick Amor Portrait of Paul Boston

Born in 1952, Paul Boston is a painter. He joined the Niagara Galleries in Victoria and met artist Rick Amor with whom he has been ‘friends, neighbours and fellow artists’ ever since.

‘Paul is a friend and a painter I admire,’ says Amor. ‘He is quite a serious man. He is a devotee of Zen Buddhism which interested me – and I rather like the way he sat.’

This work is now in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra.
