George Gittoes Portrait of Ronaldo Cameron

This portrait by George Gittoes of his close friend, dancer Ronaldo Cameron, is now in the collection of the National Library of Australia, Canberra. Gittoes and Cameron were both part of the environmental theatre group Theatre Reaching Environments Everywhere (TREE). Cameron was in the advanced stages of motor neurone disease when Gittoes painted this portrait; he died in 1992.
