Artist Ken Done and architect Glenn Murcutt (born 1936) are close friends, with Murcutt designing Done’s home in the early 1990s.
This portrait is now in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra. In the Archibald Prize 1993 catalogue, the work was listed incorrectly with the title Glen Murcutt 92
