After this portrait of surgeon Gordon Clowes (1921-2015) by Alan Baker was exhibited in the Archibald Prize, the artist cut it down to a smaller size – a relatively common practice of Baker’s. The work is now in the collection of the Alan Baker Gallery, Camden.
