Alan Baker Douglas Pratt

It is thought that this portrait by Alan Baker of artist Douglas Pratt (1900-1972) was destroyed when it fell off the roof of Baker’s car as he was crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge; he was transporting the work home from an exhibition. The only known image of the painting is from an old slide.
