The subject of this portrait by Eric Wright is lawyer Henry ‘Hank’ Walter Shephard (1880-1968). The painting had been commissioned to honour him as the foundation president of Parramatta Rotary Club. Originally, Shephard was incorrectly spelled as Shepherd in the work’s title.
