The bond between identical twins is a unique connection that I experience in the strong companionship between myself and my twin Elizabeth (Lizzie). In my body of work I use domestic settings to express the unspoken comfort we provide for one another. Inspired by Ben Quilty's Rorschach Paintings, the reflections in the monoprints reference Hermann Rorschach's psychological inkblot test and allude to the curiosity that psychologists have had about twin relationships for centuries. The figures represented in the etchings inform the monoprints, inviting the audience to dive deeper into psychological explanations for such a strong bond.
