Holly Ludman See it from my perspective
I have often thought I was the only one engulfed by irrational fear, a warped reality that could skew my perceptions. However, I started to understand that we all experience it, whether large or small. In my body of work I explore the feeling of being weighed down by psychological distress, as if drowning in a sea of self-perpetuated anxieties. I use charcoal to emphasise the frailty of the human skin and warped perspectives to represent the distorted reality created by anxiety. I invite the audience to see anxiety as I see it, and be reminded that you're not alone.
